  • Chill- Lemme break it down as simple as I can on some of us here. The IHoP is like a big dysfunctional family. -M5 would be the uncle everyone respects and takes advice from. We may not like how he p

Visco elastic foam though is a PITA if your a hot sleaper. If you have high density memory foam it will take a LONG time to disepate heat. Thats pretty much due to the fact it's dense as all hell.

Exactly what I was referring to. Been to hotels with it and fuck that

LOL that makes me think of when we would deliver them in the winter. WTF! lord those things would get as hard as ice. Just absolutely huge bricks. It would take 5-10 hours to "thaw"

I'm wating on light sabers.

I see your schwartz is as big as mine....

Yogurt has taught you well.

May the schwartz be with the both of you...

May your schwartz be in a warm, wet place.

I wish that would be the truth right now :P

LOL atta boy. MY friends would sled in summer to. They loved skipping and skimming over streams.

:)

I've got ice scratchers on my skid so if its froze up when I leave I'll stay lubricated.

Something like this would look better than the plastic disposables I have now anyways.

Stock units have non-removable bearings, but those you can service :)

Even if I had sheets J, I'd think about a normal King. I REALLY don't understand your wife and why she likes them. The cal's are longer and less wide. Not sure how that is an advantage if you are under 6'4"

she wants to get 4" closer.... if you know what I mean.

waka waka waka

;)

am I the only one who has had bad experiences with euro/pillow tops?

I'd guess so.

$300-500 for a queen isn't enough.

300-500 after haggling, I should say

$800 bucks sticker price should last about 5-6 years max. But the foam will be lower quallity and you will see the depressions fast. How did the depressions in the pillowtop cause issues?

misalignment on the back, hips, and/or knees; two of said pillowtops my parents got were ~$1000 (half off sticker) and also had the same cratering issues after less than 3 years

Was it a simmons?

One a Simmons, the other a Sealy. The Sealy in fact was recalled due to structural issues, basically the entire middle of the bed would slowly cave in; they got one of their latex model for the price of their pillowtop out of the deal and haven't looked back

According to my parents their latex is no hotter than the coil spring one they replaced. I've had 3 (I think) different relatives get the memory foam mattresses, all returned them for not dissipating heat. I've only had the pleasure of transporting a memory foam topper in cold weather, can't imagine moving an entire mattress out of that shit, good god...

Matt, another bed question for you.

I need a twin XL mattress pad cover for Aidan's bed. I EXPECT a lot of pissing and leaking and want a barrier.

There are things like:

Simmons vinyl: http://www.amazon.com/Simmons-Beautyrest-Waterproof-Mattress-Pad/dp/B003LOOQI4/ref=sr_1_3?s=bedbath&ie=UTF8&qid=1299904331&sr=1-3

A non-vinyl "waterproof" one: http://www.amazon.com/Newpoint-Terry-Waterproof-Mattress-Protector/dp/B001U3ZLJ6/ref=sr_1_2?s=bedbath&ie=UTF8&qid=1299904458&sr=1-2

And then the Luna, Protect-A-Bed, and others in the $40-60 range.

If considering he is a toddler I should use a vinyl piece of shit with a better one on top and wash I am game. Just don't want to ruin his mattress, nor have cleaning hassles. What do you think?
