Learned that there's an 85% chance that my 35 year old uncle has ALS. They won't know for sure until he sees a specialist, but we hope it's not hereditary since he just has his first daughter 15 months ago.

Should I ground my amp directly to the battery or it's a waste of wire and grounding to the chassis works as good?

Do you have a battery in the rear that's near the amplifier? If so, I would just ground to that, and the battery is grounded to the frame.

If your talking about running a ground wire from your negative terminal on your starting battery ALL the way to the back to the amp, that's just a waste. (assuming your car has decent grounding points in the engine bay, which it should)
