  • Chill- Lemme break it down as simple as I can on some of us here. The IHoP is like a big dysfunctional family. -M5 would be the uncle everyone respects and takes advice from. We may not like how he p

Although before I say that I should ask how high you are willing to let your subs play because that could surely allow a smaller Sd for the midbass.

In the past when I cross them over higher to play some midbass, I felt like it started to pull away from the bass (~35hz-70hz), like it was playing too wide of content and started to lose it's "tightness", almost muddy.

Listen to your subs only and see if you feel the same :P

Midbass authority and 6.5" aren't coincident goals. Need to move up to at least an 8.

It's 8ohm, which I know is fine to run, but will it still get enough power for say an 125-150watt@4ohm rated amp?

Don't look at only those two specs ;)

Either way, generically speaking you are fine.

Sounds good.

I've heard no mids and highs, just bass, sounds terrible lol.

I'm really just planning on dedicated mid bass drivers and down the road possibly a small dcon.

I got a buyer for my xcons, finally. WOOT.

Need some 4" componants or coaxials for my firebird.............

Any suggestions?

I have tried the kick panels and with it being a manual I can see my kicking it often. And the doors MIGHT work, but damn if they aren't deep.

How about an array of 2's going up the pillar?

Hmmmmm I hadn't considered that.

The main goal her is decently loud, clear music. Mainly rock, metal, and some hip hop.

J

Then the 4" comp set is a huge fail...

Then PLEASE guide me in the right direction. I am not opposed to cutting or glassing (rather having someone glass) the door panels.

The front stage fandango is in full swing. I'm also looking to upgrade and will be starting on it very soon, I know my choice of mids/tweets is far from perfect but we're gonna see how it turns out and as long as I'm satisfied, all will be well in the world (my own little world that is).

People who wanna add you on FB and forget they added you then bitch about you are fuckin hilarious.

Space, goals, blah, blah, blah. And I'd be glad to help :)

boots polished, suit and shirt pressed, ring washed and polished...career fairs...fun...

Only in Texas would this start with boots.

I thought the same thing, lol. No mention of a bolo tie :P

Nothing wrong with good boots. :)

You'd wear them with a suit to an interview? ...I wouldn't.

I don't have sandals, or boots, lol

Says the guy who doesn't own sandals. :)

Sandals....... :greddy2:

Flippy floppies

I hate Andy Samberg. I don't get what's so funny about those songs. Hot Rod was great though.

Sullivan! You chode! I owe you a shot to the nuts!

Lonely Island is awesome

Haven't listened to their new album much (yet), but i did like Incredibad.

He's an SNL cast member if you're one of the few people who still watch it.
