I went with a buddy to sell his R1 Saturday. I'm not a bike person at all, but god damn that thing flew.

anyone wanna help me figure out exactly how to clamp an amp for true output of power in the car..

Put clamp on one wire going to speaker, and put a dmm on both.

ex: dmm on + and - speaker wires, and clamp on + speaker wire.

dmm will tell you volts and the clamp will tell you amperage.

Wattage = amps*voltage.

You need a true RMS clamp meter to properly test amperage though. Not cheap.

true, but the entire concept in CA is sorta meaningless to begin with.
