In an email i got this morning...

"In order to make the Graduate Student Health Plan compliant with federal health care reform measures, additional coverages had to be added. The out-of-pocket costs of the premium for the GSHP will increase from $14.61 per month to $47.87 per month."

I pulled the coverage policies to find out what this "additional coverage" is. Emergency room deductible drops from $250 to $100 and annual wellness exam is fully covered instead of a $25 co-pay and 20% of anything over $500. So in other words any healthy graduate student who does not visit the emergency room will pay an additional $399.12 for $25 worth of benefits (if they choose to do an annual wellness check).

Real life example of the changes "free" healthcare provides for grad students who are making no more than $20,000 a year.

OMG.......Best in Show is hilarious.

GET THE BUSY BEE!!!!!!!!!

LMAO. I think I loved Cookie the slut the most.

Life is better living with catalogs.. you can just call the person on the phone.....

I wonder if the board will hit 1,000,000 posts this year. That would be an approximate average of 100,000 posts a year.

I am sure we will do our best to get it there.

Fortunately for me I am not affected because I am on my parents insurance plan.

Ironically though the whole idea of the program was to make health care more affordable to those who make less and have less access.

Nothing wrong with that, my mom still has all her old stuff from her studio. The only problem is getting the film developed localy here.

The Affordable Healthcare Act at work for you.

Almost at my top set in deads, and felt something funny in my lower back. Hope it's nothing. -_-

Why the hell are you working out your skinny ass?

After I was cleared of cancer I flew to Hollywood to see Coheed perform an album every night. Also rented an Aston and bombed he canyons outside Malibu. Good times.

Anyway. I also love Coheed.

Welcome Home has one of the most addictive guitar lines in music.
