Have any of you guys ever experimented with Reverse Pyramid training? Basically, after your warm up you start off with multiple reps of your heaviest weight, then you decrease the weight and add reps for 2 or 3 sets with a good break in between.

I have not had much time doing that. I usually try to push the weight up and the reps up as I get more in the groove and warmed up. Reaches burn and failure faster.

That's how I've always done it as well. It makes since in a way that if you are hurting yourself then you are definitely "more fresh" at the beginning.

Though, counter to that. I was doing leg press max. I got warmed up and decided to jump to what I expected my max to be and couldn't do it. We backed down and I ended up doing 4x1 rep sets of increasing weight that eventually was higher the original weight I failed on.

That's usually how I do it. Warm-up, then the heaviest weight, 6-8 reps, 4 sets, 1 minute rest.

Between tonight and tomorrow I "get" to:

-write a paper (without data by the way) to present at the International FE Software Congress (ok, that's not the name, but NAFEMS wouldn't mean anything to you guys)

-write a 200 word company overview for the same

-write a 150 word bio for NAFEMS, Automotive Body Congress and the Automotive Testing Expo

-write a presentation outline for the ABC and ATE

-write my resume

And yep, I decided I needed to get drunk. I can't say nice things about myself without alcohol. I come up with nothing. Hopefully tonight I come up with a lot, lol.

Sounds like lots of fun!

Sucks ass. Resume first. I fucking hate tooting my own horn. I'm a huge fan of one page resume's and mine is fucking 5. I need to seriously reduce it. FUCK!

5 pages holy shit! Most people don't want more than on page or so I have been told.

Mine is simple:

Best fucking diagnostic/electrical technician in town. Hire me.

First go around with steaks on the Egg. Conclusion? Holy fuck balls.

You are HIRED!

On Saturday morning cops responded to a call that a man had trashed patio furniture and had climbed up on a stranger's roof -- butt naked.

The naked man in question is 22-year-old Jeremiah Aaron Haughee.

According to the Daily Mail, police arrived at the Florida home at 4:30 A.M. to find Haughee covered in urine and restrained by two men.

The two men attempting restrain Haughee was the home owner and his son. According to the residents they woke to find someone destroying their patio furniture and then climbing onto their roof. The two men went outside to assess the situation, but soon after opening the door had Haughee run inside. The police report states that upon being inside, the naked culprit urinated on the floor and then proceeded to take a bite out of one of the men's stomach.

The New York Daily News reports that it took five police officers to restrain Haughee. Despite being handcuffed, Tasered and falling off a porch railing, Haughee still put up a fight with the officers.

Haughee was only able to be subdued after biting an officer's leg and subsequently getting a hood thrown over his head and his legs shackled. According to the Daily News, doctors had to knock out the man with a tranquilizer.

While the severity of the officer's bite is unknown, the Daily Mail reports that the bite the home owner received is "so severe that it will leave the victim permanently disfigured."

Jeremiah Haughee was released on a $32,000 bail on Sunday. He is charged with five counts of battery, three of which were against a police officer.

The Daily News reports that Haughee was not drug tested because "there was no statute requiring him to take such a test."

Started making a site to track workouts and progression with charts, but then decided it was going to be a bitch to graph set/rep changes.
