no, i completely hear what your saying. i don't do competitions and have never been to one. i could care less how loud a system is if it sounds like sh!t. i want something thats gonna be musical and something that sounds great, but i also want something that'll get absolutely nasty when i want it to also. you know what i'm saying?

For what it's worth, there isn't any reason why a square subwoofer can't sound good.

Also, port area is independent of enclosure volume, so saying 16.5in^2 per cubic foot doesn't really make sense.

37Hx45.25Wx35D is ABSOLUTELY the max wall to wall and being able to keep my rear seats for the kids. my Expedition has more room than my Hummer.

Edit: i don't want to wall off my truck. i want to keep it lower than the rear headrest and at least 5+inches away from the rear gate.
