some strange cooking shows on TV

just saw a guy "sear" a 2 rib roast with a blowtorch before sticking it in a 125F oven for 24 hours

Stupid. Sterilization with a torch isn't good enough for me unless that oven is at 140. Then fuck cooking it afterwards.

Beyond stupid considering he was trying to "replicate a premium New York style steak". Stupid bastard...

So Duran has a problem, I got my 9887 all hooked up, but for some reason when I try to play a CD it's turning my amplifier off, change it back to the Tuner and it turns the amplifier on again. I've searched for days for a setting that would help me out with no luck, any suggestions fellas?

That's a no-brainer. .

You hooked the power antenna lead up for the remote turn-on instead. When you switch to a source different from the tuner, it switches the antenna lead off and likewise, your amplifier. Switch the leads and you should be good. The unit should have a separate wire for amplification control.

Your power-antenna lead is blue while the remote turn-on is blue/white.

Was just getting ready to say the same thing.

Thanks guys, will be looking at it tomorrow.

That's what it was, thanks fellas.

afterward he cut the roast off the bone, sliced into thick steaks, seasoned with salt and pepper, then seared them in a cast iron pan.

It sounds amazing actually...

Two-thousand-year-old fossil sandals show evidence of fibers suggesting that the Romans wore their sandals over socks.

Fegs !

They were way ahead of their time, meaning they were fegs before the rest of the world! :P

Madisound shipped the package to cover their mistake. But they sent the wrong TB driver to replace the broken one I got

*shakes head*

So now I have 2 Fountek FR88's, 2 Fountek FR89's (ordered), 1 broken TB W3, 1 good TB W3 and 1 TB TGW3, which I can't find a use for. Must be some new employees...

i have come to the conclusion i frequent this site too much

So basically he's saying whats so tiring about vacation is tryin to find an exotic island in the caribbean he hasn't visited yet and do absolutely nothing when he gets there.

Life's just hell for some people.

Does the sound of this engine give anyone else a boner?

Only one in the world.

This guys has a shit ton of videos of rare exotic cars.

This video left me absolutely speechless. I can't fathom a car looking more beautiful than that.

I remind myself daily that this place is full of fucksticks............and yet it never really helps.

And yes I am referencing work, not SSA.

Of course all the deals worth looking at I would have to drive 2 hours. Found a couple good bikes for 150ish but they are in Austin and I won't be able to make it there for at least 2-3 weeks.

What do you need again?

Currently my brain is searching for either ~$200 road bike/ single gear, $50-$100 old mountain bike I can throw some street tires on, $300-$400 Mountain Bike that I can throw street tires on for now and use at a MTB/running event mid next year.

I want something cheap to commute on so I don't have to worry about it getting stolen as much and having a bike that will compete in the Muddy Buddy competition next year would be a plus but not a necessity.

and thanks Sean for showing me search tempest

I assume you've found the setting that allows them all to be in one list and when you click they open their own window? (perhaps new tab if you do that)

No I don't believe I have. I will look though
