CTS-V vs BMW M5

If I was smaller I would want the caddy. I think it looks really "guido" or however you spell that. The dealer I went to had one fully loaded for ~$67k. That's a lot less than the BMW. I don't know which would be cheeper to repair.

Used market... well... I think the BMW drops so violently so fast, that it's probably the better buy there. If I blow an engine on either I would cry but the Bimmer would cost more to replace I would guess. The GM crap just has a vette engine with a blower.... so I'm guessing it wouldn't be too much to fix.

What you can tell instantly thought is the BMW is made better. I have no idea how they drive though. Either will blow my hair back however.

Final word though is this, would I rather be seen in and walk to and see a GM or BMW?

BMW by a large margin.

And Matt, if you know where I can buy nice Heritage birds that aren't $8-10/lb please let me know. I almost shit when I saw what they were up to.

You checked cooks on crocus hillI'm guessing? I think they are 9 a pound.

:(

I have never tasted one. I have only heard of them this year in fact. I guess little farms is the biggest place locally to get them.

As with all birds, except ones of course that you can eat the liver raw from. Then the liver is BY FAR the best part. YUMMY.

What bird can I eat raw liver from???

That and the Caddy looks like GM shit. Perhaps you have to be under 25 to like the way it looks. The dumb part is that it doesn't even look modern, just shitty. I will give them huge props to the improvements in the interior though. SO MUCH FUCKING BETTER than the last generation.

and guess what? I'm under 25 eek5wavey.gif

hahaha.

in all honesty.. the front end is what i really like TBH rest of the car is BLAH..

I do agree though

And the worst part of the CTS to me is the front end. I hate chrome chicken wire on cars lol.

:)

Style is personal though. I think it's because it's so flashy it screams "look at me muther ^&&*()(er!!!". I do like that but only on truely over the top vehicles, like lambo's etc.

I like it's aggressive lines, same with the Lamborghi Murciélago, and the Gallardo

If I could only wait to read a couple poasts further....

:)

Little farms?

Well okay, slowly poached at a low temperature. Not quite raw. Was more referring to the yumminess of not needing to add anything or "cook" them in anyway, but technically inappropriate I suppose. Perhaps you could, but I can't verify.

I didn't mean to call you out. I was more asking like a student really interested in something the master was saying.

I am still a lowly padewan learner. I hate liver in general, so I would love to find a way to like it.

Sorry it's Nature's Little Farms.

Kellog MN I guess. I had to search a bit online. I'm going to call a few co ops today durring my lunch and I will let you know if I find out anything. The new one here by Riverside is massive and awesome and they might have some. Did you try whole foods yet?

The best way to fry a turkey is when you quarter/eighth it beforehand, like fried chicken

I like to roast mine like I saw Alton Brown do: 500 for about a half hour, pull it, cover the breast in tin foil, drop the oven to 350 and wait until the probe thermometer goes off. On his program he set his for something like 160, but 155 gives better results. Like any giant hunk of critter you gotta wait 30 minutes or so to carve into it, but its worth the wait.

combine that with a brine and you have yourself an awesome bird

Now to completely switch gears......

I ocasionally like to PWN noobs. Or get PWNed. I don't have speakers on my PC and I now don't have the intention of putting any to it as I am networking it to my HT and eventually whole home.

Anyway, I want a headset. Comfort is #1, durrable and built well is #2. Sound quality must be great, but I'm not looking for music or movie depth, just extremely clear sound.

Plantronics 377 is the only one I have used personally. My roomate has it. It's ok for comfort, sounds ok, and since it's dirt cheep I might just get that one. It's a "bit" fragile though. It has been glued back together a couple times, and it's not put to abuse. He has put a few bajillion hours on them, but never beats them up. It's just made of brittle plastic.

I have seen 3 that I like on paper. Sennheisser 350, but it has a plastic/fake leather looking seal on the ear muff part and that blows. The Astro A40 looks to be top quality. Or lastly something from turtle beach, they also seam to get high comfort ratings.

Put in your .02 plz.

I didn't take it that way :) I am sure you "can" eat it raw as well. Hell in Japan they have chicken sashimi so I bet a well cared for duck/goose is probably a heck of a lot safer.

I haven't tried anywhere yet, just was thinking that I'd be willing to throw down on something special since I am hosting. In particular since everyone is bringing everything else expensive.

LOL!

I didn't think of it, but I doubt sound clarity is all that awesome. They would be durable I bet. I wonder if they come in 3.5mm audio and mic?

:D

Alton's skin did not get the finish I am looking for, but wasn't far off. Just like with any beast the skin is where it is at. I may buy a cheap bird this weekend and give it a go. Figure I can just freeze the meat when I am done and premake some stock for Thursday so that I can expedite the gravy making process.

The tenting idea is appropriate though as the breast shouldn't really hardly break 160F.
