Question for you alcoholics.

I want to buy a bottle of good vodka. The question is how do I preserve it, so it does not lose it's quality and taste over time? I don't drink often so it will take a while for me to finish the bottle.

I did not know you had to do anything other than put the cap back on.

Seems like it can be stored for some years just tightly closed and in some cold, dark place. Before use, it should be placed in the fridge.

I should lurk more next time. :peepwall:

anybody else think 60 bucks for a pioneer premier 880prs is a good deal? i like the hell out of it but hate that it doesn't have a usb hook up.

Screaming. $200 is reasonable. One of the best headunit ever IMO.

I've got a pair of SLS8's waiting to be installed in a friend's car and I'm curious to hear them in my car. Obviously they don't fit without angle grinder work. Any cons to testing them in a sealed box ?

Testing? Not at all. Could even use them in car that way, but it will be a big box...

Put it in a cabinet somewhere. The bottle in my house is now at least 3 years old ;)

Personally, I think the only wheel that should ever be on a black vehicle is chrome. Nothing sets the black off better than chrome. As for your wheels choices there, I like #3 for winter.

You picked the stockers with a gunmetal stripe. Basically exactly what is on the truck.

There are big aluminum running boards so a similar finish IMO is a must. All the accents are lightly brushed as well. So no strong polish will fit. In general I agree though, but do like a little texture in my polish.

WOW I like #3 also!

Amusingly I like the two options that were stock. 2007-2009 is #3 and I like the 2010's.

NEVER put booze in the fridge or freezer. Always chill it with ice in your glass or shaken if you want it straight up. The ONLY exception is when you have some liquor that is meant to be shot straight and cold. Even then I'd shake it, but some are lazy. There is a saying among bar tenders, its the clink that makes the drink. The clink comes from ice and having the booze chilled is detrimental to the effect. The goal is to use less mixer. And yes there is a huge flavor advantage to making drinks in a Rocks glass instead of a super sipper gallon jug.

Hooray food poisoning!

Can someone look up why there is black particulate in my otherwise pale yellow vomit? Thanks a bunch, back to bed

Yeah, I thought about that, big box in the footwells. Not going to fly, although it would be absolutely delicious.

Given the fact that it's snowing, I gave up cutting a test box :(

If it would only have tweeter highpass that can go lower than 1.25kHz :(

Hmmm...can it be disabled ? the Eclipse can highpass from 30 to 300hz so it would work perfect...

Those take to a ported box rather nicely as well, but then it really gets big :)

Hand operated clutch, brake and throttle + nobody in the passenger seat

IIRC it has an all pass, as well, but perhaps that requires you all pass all channels.

That is why it is only one of the best, if it was more capable of running a full ranger and midbass then for a 2 way it would be the choice IMO.

You can't imagine how many times I bitched at my Alpine that it doesn't have a separate L/R level for each of the outputs. Just balance...

Stopped and bought donuts this morning on my way into work and when I got in there they were almost completely out of donuts. So now they are out of everything but some cinnamon rolls. Every other time I've bought they have had plenty, today must have been a good day for donuts.

The 2010 rims look like luxury rice IMO.

Yup, definitely something up with the GI tract; basically just puked up motor oil and coffee grounds, off to the ER I go...again...
