I bet the AMG with the new grippers handle it like a champ.

With my tires on the Expy in 4 I feel like I could go up a vertical wall.

My buddies CTS makes it up fine as well, but it also has snows.

The big problem are when people with fwd shit visit. Not only do they not make it up, but they start to slide and power themselves sideways and get really fucking stuck. I have had at least 10 people stuck in my driveway and ALL of them were fwd shit.

Any of them use snow shoes on the FWD's?

Yep, the pizza boy who has been stuck in my driveway 2x.

R2, I’m still shopping for optics and a bolt action. I’ve basically given up on a new rifle but I can get the glass now and toss it on my AR and save for a while but still shoot and get familiar with the glass.

In the 3-15x ish power is where I’m looking based on the info I could collect. I’m looking at Leo, US optics, Night force, S & B (ouch), and Premier. I would like to have FFP reticle. That would get me touching paper at ~1000y without too much trouble right? Any other suggestions anecdotal or otherwise?

What are you going to be touching 1000yrd with?

I've been waffling between the 300 WM, .338 Lap, or maybe something larger if I found an outstanding deal. I don't think the 16" .308 on my DPMS would have a prayer.

Stranger things have happened

Buy as nice of optic as you can swing. You can always put it on a new gun.

in dream land what would you purchase?

I don't know if I would want to live in a dump like Minnetonka. Bunch of cake eaters.
