After A/B ing with the Anthem and a source with over an order of magnitude worse THD and more than 3 DB difference in SNR I could not hear any change. Flat out the extra cost for razor edge reproduction is a moot point. I was suprised with that fact considering how precise the ML's are. So since all relatively good numbers are equal I got the one with the most doohickeys that I wanted that was cost effective. I got that puppy on order for less than I could find it for on the interwebs, so I'm happy.

I will say the anthem room correction is a real cool system... but with a mic and a few hours one could to massively better.

  • Chill- Lemme break it down as simple as I can on some of us here. The IHoP is like a big dysfunctional family. -M5 would be the uncle everyone respects and takes advice from. We may not like how he p

Oh yes I forgot to mention at the price and feature point I did end up picking the prettiest one too. It's kind of weird that when I weighed out everything the best LOOKING receiver also had everything that a guy could want.

Hooray for Marantz.

Got me one of these too. Had to replace the rental. So I got a new one and gave the BILaw the one I had.... Cleans like an M effer, and the 4.5 cuf drum acts bigger than it is.

Similar to my red ones.

Sean the upgrades to the sled look good, but the picture on the phone is great!

I can't believe you guys overlooked Duran's birthday.

Man he is getting old!

General question.

Has anybody noticed a lot more drama in your area or place of employment? My past two days were consumed dealing with people whinning about everthing and how bad their life sucks!

And you know dealing with people like that sucks the life right out of you!

After a little stress relief I will be fine. :)

I stopped paying attention to people around work several years ago. Nobody is ever happy.

I don't have that option.

Your are right, in general people are never happy.

Thanks mang. Can't wait to map out the area, really sick of paper. Downloaded the mymaps app and it will keep track of everywhere I go and allow me to label everything. This means I can finally map the ditches when I find a great one and not be sad after a great route that I'll never find it again.

I think that would be a great feature also.

Lithium, I know you're a MUCH smarter than average guy. I probably could have been more gentle in the way you asked your questions but I was making a point. I have a TON of personal history on both sides of the union line. Not once yet have I seen the union help the people who actually do the work. Even when they "help" the employee, 90% of the time it's actually a new way of controlling them, and taking the focus off of the fact that unions are now for political issues and making crap loads of money for people who want to appear giving, and righteous.

my only experience with unions has been what i've heard from my dad. he's kind of an interesting guy in terms of politics, he would probably agree with alot of the opinions made by M5 (socially liberal, fiscal conservative) but less educated haha... besides being an active union member. i cant put a number on it but i would have to say his experience with the union has been a bit more positive then yours. i wont go into details and shit but it seems personal opinions/observations are sometime a bit more subjective.

The liberal media has a way of helping young undecideds lean the wrong way.

angels and demons dancing in my head

lunatics and monsters underneath my bed

media messiahs preying on my fears

pop culture prophets playing in my ears

And a couple more updates:

Fresh belt, sanded & cleaned clutches, sheave clearance checked (first sled I've ever owned that was in spec when I bought it!!!), exhaust valves cleaned, but most importantly I allowed it to fit me :)

Rox adjustable bar riser. 4" of adjustability. I can pull it low for great snow conditions and high mileage days on groomed trails or yank it up for banging the ditches and play time :)
