Still waiting for an answer from NI but the difference is I can walk to Emerson while NI is 6 miles away. That equates into $100 for gas per month. Unless NI offers $200 more than Emerson, case closed.

I'd also expect that Emerson is a better place to work as NI over here seems to turn people over quickly, ie hire out of school but not keep them. Both are good options for opening other doors though

The trend isn't exclusive to Ford either. There are quite a few manufacturers that soften up the American versions of their cars. Says a lot about our market

Yes, cheapen is a better word for it. A lot of it has to do with the fact that there isn't much of a perceived market for true sports cars in the US. If everyone is content buying sports cars that still utilize leaf springs and live rear axles then why bother making something better?
