  • Chill- Lemme break it down as simple as I can on some of us here. The IHoP is like a big dysfunctional family. -M5 would be the uncle everyone respects and takes advice from. We may not like how he p

Well R1 I've narrowed it down to something from USOptics or the premier heritage.

I want to try a different night force, but the "chromatic aberration" was too much for me. And it had oddities Round the edge of the image.

I'm also going to have to say fuck s and b. I can't find their top end anywhere and its the most highest cost option. If it had some feature that was can't live without but the glass on the one I looked through was great but not spectacular like a HQ binocular or telescope/range finder.

Well, that's nice, but I haven't a clue what the fuck you are talking about.

Lmao

r1 is in my auto correct. R2 was not....... But now it is.

:)

Winner typo.

Narrowed it down. Looking for a 28hp Minneapolis. Fucking missed out on one by a few weeks :(

Yep, amazing machines. Rated at 28hp and I've seen one exceed 3500ft lbs at 250rpm. Sometimes technology takes a step back. Plus gotta love something you have to fuel with a fire you build!

I've had my Boilers license in MN since 1991, but haven't used it in 5 years. I'd like to solve that and figure its time to own instead of beg.

This might be a stupid question, but what will you do with it? Just use it like any other modern tractor?

LOL. I'd store it here: http://www.rollag.com/index.php and run it for four days a year during the show. Have some stellar memories growing up there spending time with my father and I'd like that to continue both with him and my children.

Lol, had to ask. Assuming bitches go crazy when they find out about that Boilers liscense.

In MN a tractor like that will pull bitches. Lots and lots.

All those pistons thrusting gets their blood boiling I think. Sorry you didn't get it sean. I loved cleaning those up on the farm. Such cool machines.

helped my friend do the evry mod on his tdi beetle last night.. very surprised with the results. pours smoke pretty nice :morepower1:

Pouring smoke under boost means he's not doing it right. Smoke does not mean power.

i think it just has something to do with how the mod works.. once the boost builds up enough it stops smoking. in a very nonscientific test we measured a 0-60mph time of ~10sec, my friend said it was closer to 13-14 before.

the mod consist of bridging a potentiometer across 2 pins on the fuel harness.

here's something from a tdi forum

"...what is happening is that the 10-pin connector (joining the main wire from the ECU to the Injection Pump) is being hot-wired into producing a different voltage, which alters or magnifies the ECU's signal in a similar manner that a Tuning Box does. This increases the amount of fuel the injection pump pushes and advances the timing..."

Sorry to down the tractor fun times mood but I just got back from Tucson. Seeing my boss a man only 56 years old in ICU has me a tad fuckedup. He had a stroke last night and while he is doing better than expected his motor skills and speech are not as good as they were. Additionally, after this one the Army is looking at giving him medical retirement. Its strange to me because just yesterday I was thinking of how much he has taught me in the almos 2 years I have known him, and how much more I have left to learn. Really sucks seeing a good mentor like him in this state.

That is freaken sweet Sean! I grew up on my grandparents farm playing on them! I love the old hit and miss sound.

Now that is an awesome reason to buy it Sean! We go to this show every year and take 4 of my grandfather's tractors. Ours does not look as fun asyou show in MN though.

I'm looking to begin to learn to weld.. Is mig welding a good start?

Depends, what are you looking to do?

I have to say I am a little suprised with the like of steam. :)

There is nothing like the sound steam whistles on those tractors and the smell of apple butter.

Sorry to hear this. Two days ago my oldest machinist had a stroke.
