To clarify, real hoods have their fans on the roof and not in the hood anyway.

And if that isn't clear enough, the rest is just stainless steel and maybe some lights. I don't need the lights.

We have a massive hood at the haunt, in the old kitchen.

Damp locations are sheltered outdoor areas that are protected from direct contact with weather, like a covered patio; as opposed to Wet locations which are unsheltered outdoor areas that are in direct contact with weather.

My huh was regarding the hood not the description of damp. Just wondered why it would be okay completely exposed but not partially covered.

Yeah, sorry I'm used to Wet and Damp rated exterior lighting and ceiling fans. I just thought for a second that maybe the same ratings applied to vent hoods but I completely forgot about remote blowers. What can I say? Cough syrup dulls the brain.

Got interviewed by federal researchers once regarding just that.

Depends on long term what you want to do. If it is exactly what the internship is then stick to it, if its something else a change is in order. Having a good reason for the change (usually challenge & goal related) is a requirement IMO.

Should work good. I too hate wrapping vinyl. I do like how the enclosure felt carpet wraps though.
