Rofl. True. The '91 5.7 GM I had for awhile was anything but short of power though, it was a factory freak. Aside from the severe lack of power, the truck drives quite well and the interior is pretty nice. Not like the GM where the doors don't shut properly, radio crapped out, steering column had to be taken apart and rebuilt since the lock plate came loose, and the odometer died umpteen years ago. I don't think the lack of power is quite all the anemic engines fault though, I do believe she is running pig rich sometimes. There is quite a bit of black soot forming around the exhaust tip so I'm thinking it needs plugs, vacuum leaks checked, and the catalytic converters are clogged and need 'fixed'.

To be fair though, that truck has been in our family since it was brandy new so all the problems its ever had were experienced in the family. I has to be close to 200k now though and never had diddly squat done to engine/transmission/rearend though.
