Which org. I think as long as nothing is modified inside the car you are fine. And any panels that are stock must be in place. But if you only modify inside you're trunk you should be fine

Huh? F3, F is for Frequency, 3 is for 3dB down point. Only two things can affect the roll off, being a ported box the slope of the roll off is 2x the slope of a sealed. Driver response of course is the other and dependent on the mechanical properties of the sub.

That is in the storage area, not the passenger compartment. If they state differently their lawyer sucks. Of course, being it's been more than 20 years since I competed or read any rules perhaps going by my reading of that isn't such a great idea.

In other words, perhaps they are stupid. Sure looked like it was going that route in the early 90's and I somehow doubt it got better.

Depends on the org, but I wouldn't be surprised if you went to five shows and the judges were fine with it, and then you went to another five shows they weren't.
