  • Chill- Lemme break it down as simple as I can on some of us here. The IHoP is like a big dysfunctional family. -M5 would be the uncle everyone respects and takes advice from. We may not like how he p

Grains are cash crops, and I'm sure there's lots of money spent every year to make people think "whole grains" are healthy.

American Heart Association doesn't have a great track record either, so it's not like I would pay too much attention to their healthy food pyramids.

^But those aren't reason enough to say it's bad.

Even if you disagree, you may find some of this interesting: http://www.direct-ms...eal%20Sword.pdf

I'll skim it later, but am dubious. Not saying there isn't some truth in it, but the conclusions are rough. Came from hippy central. Pretty much bet at the same college you'll find someone with the same arguments against meat. I'd buy into those quicker.

Then feel free to find studies from other facilities. :)

Finished my work out in the late afternoon, and napped until an hour ago. I'm always shocked how quickly deads kick the shit out of you, guess our cns is sorta important.

Oh and aren't hippies the first to opt for plant matter before said meat? :P

Don't feel like answering messages anymore. Transformers 3 with Ferdinand.

Don't feel like answering messages anymore. Transformers 3 with Ferdinand.

I watched part of the second one earlier, but couldn't resist sleeping.

The third doesn't have Megan Foxx does it? :(

I could care less about the grain argument, but in general I would say that a "ballanced diet" is key.

Something that is so simple that I laugh about it all the time is one of Sean's basic rules. "Don't eat the same meal twice in a month."

So simple. Not easy for some, but so simple.

Also eating 12 servings of veg in a day. That is some tough shit. I have tried and its so much harder than I expected.

Captain vitamix is helping though. :-D

It's even helping my wife get them in. She has gone multiple days without a vegi before.

And no, corn and most tubers are not vegis. I let carrots slide though....

:-)

Ultimately performance and sports nutrition is a bit different from a simple "healthy diet".

Part of me ow wishes I could stop thinking about the gym, and working out, and min maxing my food. Just eat well and be happy.

i say pour in tons protien and calories like i do work your ass off at the gym and drink a bunch of beeer every night to make you happy
