Had to reread these with a fresh brain.

1/4 cup turbinado sugar

6.0 oz. tequila

4.0 oz. triple sec

2.5 oz. lime juice

4.5 oz. water

...and a pound of ice in a blender is mighty nice indeed.

BOO. Frozen marg's are a waste and your liquor to mixer quantities are really weak.

and I do mean bite

Too much sweet and not enough booze.

Try:

Rocks glass full of ice

Juice one lime

2 shots tequila

.5 shot/splash of Cointreau

Sweet syrup to taste. none is necessary with good limes, but we sure the fuck rarely get those.

Kind of chuckled because my frozen marg recipe is just my standard on the rocks recipe, diluted down with water to ~10-11% ABV, about the same as a standard highball like whiskey and coke, rum and coke, etc.:

Juice of 1 lime

3 oz. (2 shots) of tequila

1 oz. (1 pony shot) triple sec/orange liqueur

Sugar or syrup to taste

Pretty similar, eh?

Spent the day ripping up the gym floor at the haunt today. Boy did that suck!

So my little buddy decided to sleep over tonight. His plan was to stay up until 12am, but he has been sleeping since 10pm. Poor little guy worked hard today helping me.

I'm beyond tired. I don't know what is wrong with me the last 4 days3. So sleepy.

Well ok, one night I got drunk.... But that doesn't explain the first night or the last couple days!

I haven't gotten a good night sleep in the last five nights at the hotel, got woken up every hour to three hours. So looking forward to my own bed tonight.

Smoked ribs today..... Not as good as usuall.... But really tasty. I'm having trouble getting a good smoke ring on ribs lately. No good reason why. Cold meat at 225, but the smoke doesn't penitrate.
