Thia cold is BRUTAL. Nyquil fog FTL.

i have a pretty nasty cold myself. nostrils all stuffed up, lungs feel heavy, body hurts and have zero energy. currently taking a multitude of vitimins and some over the counter Claritin 24hr that had the pseudoephedrine in it.

Although, I'd grill or pan roast the fish dry and then cover with sauce to eat.

Also, Aaron didn't dumb it down too bad. Basically it's a spicy marinara that you put on top. I'd highly recommend San Marzano tomatoes if you go canned or considering the season some local heirloom's from the farmers market. Considering your nose, I'd kick up the heat a notch :)

Thanks Sean!

I have some scallops too. I think those will be my breakfast.

:-)

AndnI love san marzano tomatoes. I always have some on hand.

So, one thing that is importing when tuning a system is playing with the phase of individual speakers. Im curious if anyone has thought of using DPDT switches?

related question, can the minidsp switch phase on individual channels?

I always prefer to do that in software, not hardware.

MiniDSP can invert the phase. On the same page as the time delay.

thanks!

Just trying to think a head this time around. i'd really like to ditch the hu and go with 1 or 2 minidsp's. I'm really liking the idea of a 7" tablet as the "head unit". shame you cant tweak the setting on the minidsp with the tablet.

I want to use a tab for my next head unit. The only downside is that a lot of times you cannot charge and run them at the same time without hum.

had this same problem with my phone on a gps style dock.

So I just went to a mobile food truck called Chef Tai Mobile Gourmet. I have been there a couple times before and gotten a series of sandwiches that have been really good. The guy tell me that their Wagyu burger is the best burger in town, so I try it out skeptically because another place in town is pretty damn good.

HOLY FREAKING CRAP! It was the best burger that I have had. The burger was actually cooked a little under medium, the bread was great, the toppings were awesome. It was fantastic. The other kicker are their fries are made with truffle oil or something and they are freaking delicious.

This is how it's described on their site,

AMERICAN WAGYU BURGER”: $9

6 OZ JUICY WAGYU PATTY, SWEET BRIOCHE BREAD, TRUFFLE MAYO, TOMATO, ARUGULA LETTUCE, PEPPERCORN STEAK SAUCE, SAUTEED ONION, CHEESE

Scallops are great with Hollandaise

Just seared them and stir fried some noodles. A little garlic infused macadamia oil for the scallops and some chilli macadamia oil for the noodles. I am feeling a little better now.

The oils were a gift, and the noodles are great.... the scallops needed olive oil. The nut flavor was still there.

Really good though..

Sad they overcooked it.

Hey Stefan, I'm not sure where you posted it, but did you say that your computer boots through a flash drive and if you don't plug in the flash drive it boots a clean copy of Windows?

I'm curious because I was wondering where you computer stores data with the flash drive plugged in and if it stores it on the Hard Drive is it accessible or visible at all through the windows side.

I was thinking that it would be cool to set up some very specific system that I could run from multiple computers. I remember reading that you can use a computer as an extra WAP or I could setup a slim version of Linux with any data I may need, or that allows me access to things I couldn't get on others computers.

If I could make it work I could store it all on a 4gb micro SD and with simple adaptors I could run it via USB or SD Card slot in a Raspberry Pi computer (something I've been looking for a reason to buy.)

Fall is here in full force, cold and raining!

Haha, well there was plenty of pink in the middle. It may have been cooked less, but comparing hamburger doneness to steak seems a little different.

Oh and the linux distro is called Back Track. It's all open-source. I have mine on a thumbstick, and store sensitive data on a microsd card. Without those two, my laptop boots to a blank win7 install. laugh.png

I have to write that distro name down. It sounds pretty cool :)

I am not ready to turn the heat on!

That is one great thing about Texas. When winter comes electric bills are tiny because you can normally just leave the windows open. If it's cold you can cook chili and bake some corn bread and that will likely provide enough heat. At night a big war comforter is sufficient.

Have fun with drivers :P

If you argue that your burger is the best in the city you should grind your own beef in such a way that it can be served rare. Then you should refuse to overcook it.

I've actually only ever had one good non home made pretzel in this country. Okay, multiples but all at one location

I live next to amish country in the middle of the sticks and they are good at making pretzels and bake goods.

That's what I like about growing up where I did. We have some amish around and they are GREAT people to know. Usually super kind and friendly..........just a lil weird when you see one of their actually attractive females.

Tell her you have a rumshpringer in your pants and she is invited.

Granted this guy is probably Mennonite, still fucking hilarious.

I have a straw hat just like that peepwall.gif
