I would send a copy, but I'm pretty sure the last version I downloaded had a crack with a virus in it.

You can download a thirty day trial from Adobe, and at least try it out before "finding it."

As soon as you get drunk you'll get a call.

Really considering saving up for some high quality graduated density filters. I could really, really, really, use them.

Bracket shooting on a tripod in the mean time?

I admit that I'm too lazy to devote the necessary time to learn how to manipulate digital photos, as well as raw image files, using software. I barely find enough time to shoot as it is with school, girlfriend, and other bits of life's bullshit. Hence my interest in a more hardware oriented solution.

Of course, in my opinion, no amount of filtration beats optimal lighting. But it sure as beats lackluster lighting without using any filters at all. And seeing as I don't have as much time as I like, lackluster lighting is almost always what I get.

Yep, and I am a moron. Went out on the lake yesterday to shoot some Panorama's of the leaves and left off the polarizer. I didn't notice because I was wearing my Maui Jim's. Doh.gif

Speaking of, any good software for making a pana pic? I've never done it before.

I'm the one the photography shop tricked into thinking I needed a UV filter on my ultra-wide for my DSLR. For about 3 months I shot all my photos with this $35 piece of junk on the end of my moderately nice lens. Man that pissed me off. To be honest I forgot it was even on the end until I got frustrated with the horrible vignetting I was getting and decided to investigate.

And I don't know of any good, user friendly panoramic software. I really am just a mild photography hobbyist; I hope I don't come off as someone who really knows a whole lot about it because I don't. But I might go to cnet and read their reviews and try some panoramic software out today. Same with HDR programs.

You can do hdr in photoshop too. :P

I hope I don't come across as knowing much either because I don't haha.

For a couple hundred bones It better be able to! I might see if I can get a discount through my university.

I have some experience with Adobe products before... maybe the learning curve won't be so drastic.

Jon, go to finals with me....

Can I ask why you feel diesel has been a failure?

Sales figures wink.png

Not worldwide...

Yeah, but I live and work in the US.

Our industry in the States is completely different from the rest of the world. I don't mean just sales figures either. OBDII is unique to the US, and so are many other forced safety and emissions products. Our diagnosis and repair are worlds apart from anywhere else in the world.

OBDII is on a ton of European cars and I believe a lot of US made / sold cars are not so tight on emissions as a lot of European cars. Just as an example, modern diesels in Europe now have urea injection to drop emissions.

I seriously fucking hate Adobe. Then again I don't do extreme editing with my photo's.

I loath Kansas. I had nothing but bad luck there when I drove throught it. Similar with Billings Montana. Just more annoying and less life threatening.

Should stop by Manhattan and eye the college women.

Other than that... not much here.

My four day stop there a few years ago that's all I saw to do too.

J

If its been a few years you might be surprised how much Manhattan has tried to expand and grow, they have delusions of grandeur. Still the same ole stuff though.

I'd come for the women, stay for the booze.

I do always wonder for those that eat tuna out of a can why you don't just buy portions of frozen tuna sashimi. Tons of ways to add very little to it and make it super yummy.

I'll definitely look into it. Once I know what kind of frozen tuna I can get I will bug you for ideas :P

That is the direction I was kind of leaning. I still want a number of diesels. A 7.4L Ford truck (for my end of the world get the F out of town), a 1998 300D (uber miles per tank, cruising in a great car), Jetta Sportwagen (turbo, inter, electronics swap = fun and goofy sleeper), 1974 240D (in the boring stop and go with moderate highway speeds during commuting, might as well get 47mpg and stay classy).

The trouble with old N/A Merc diesels is that they are slow sad.png

Even so, a W201 200D is what I'm probably getting if I switch jobs and need a daily driver smile.png

Oh, I know they are slow, hence why I said for put putting along during the daily commute. ;)
