I've been waiting for 2+ years to get a break. I've applied and done the interview thing at so many jobs and been more than qualified, but I don't have any papers that say I know my shit.

I applied at a utility company a while ago and knew more about the power generation side than a guy who'd been there for 15+ years, yet they would only hire me in at $8/hr. EFF that!

Dude, that's what I did once for a communications-drill type thing we did out in the middle of nowhere...ran a 80' sloping wire antenna up to the trees from the ball mount, the frame of the van became part of an excellent ground plane that the antenna tuner loaded up against

The "Vantenna" worked really well...
