Bought it for a buddy's simple install.  Never really been a fan of MA, but it's cheap and has great features.  I'm thinking of picking another up for the beater.

I would get the JBL 6 channel off SD before that, I have never had a feeling of quality from MA

I saw that too, but they offer a 90 day warranty and I have connections for repair if need be. Would be nice to have it problem-free, but it was the ONLY thing in his budget with 6 channel and built in crossovers to handle the entire spectrum.

Pull the 8s out and use them for the dormroom. With that huge trunk you have, you have all the makings for a great enclosure for the 18.

Besides, last time I ordered from SD, it took them 1 month to get the order straight, another to ship it, and then it didn't work when I received it and took them 3 weeks to refund my money after getting the amp back in 3 days.

Only reason for me for the 18 is for it's intended HT application. There's too many good car audio drivers out there already to necessitate needing anymore IMO.

Mine do that and "pop." I have a hip that will sometimes pop out when it feels the need. THAT SUCKS!!!!

you know how to Recoil(i guess thats what they call it) a alternator or what ever they do to make it HO?

I work for a Rebuilder. We do a lot of OE reman work and pretty much any custom stuff you want done. We don't do the actual winding or re-winding though. We send the parts out or order them.
