I think tuesday I'm gonna go to walmart and get a deck of cards to pratice with.... Boredom FTW!!

Throwing cards is fun but I stopped after I got a couple people in the eye.

In studio the other day, an architect was wandering around and came in, emptied the sharps container, and used drafting dots, 8 razor blades and made a throwing stars that he was sticking in the walls...

"Good" starts at about $200, new. Used is a little less.

Something you'll keep for a while is $400'ish.

I'm looking at a Technics SL-1200 series, pretty much the benchmark in direct-drive DJ tables. Most audiophools shun direct drives, but the Technics is simply way, way overbuilt compared to basically anything at that price point ($500 when fitted with a cartridge/headshell).

I had a modded Audio Research belt driven 'table, but sold it for various reasons...had too many compromises for me to hang onto it for a while.
