You know the cable that goes from your laptop or computer ... one of those fancy/crazy connector things like for a monitor ... on the other end are your RCA's for audio and a video plug so you can say watch DVD's from your laptop on a TV?

I need to design/build a ported box for a 10" kicker comp VR for HT use... I have a DD 1008 in a sealed box hooked up right now... I guess you have to use what youve got.

All I'm looking to do is run video/audio from my laptop on my TV.

I'm computer retarded, keep that in mind. In my mind, one of them fancy ass connectors from the back with RCA/video connectors on the other end plugged into my TV would work.

Well, audio's easy enough...just low level RCA's from your soundcard if it supports it, or 1/8" stereo to RCA's from the headphone jack if it doesn't.
