Simple meal since I was working on the truck today everything had to be from the freezer or panty. I pulled out a package of pork chops from the pig I butchered, a bag of apples to cook down that I froze last fall, and some wild rice I bought up in N. MN from the natives. Really needed bread, but that would have required a drive.

I feel like I've been out of the loop here this past week...not keeping up with the 'HOP at all.

Checking in a few times a day just isn't cutting it, but I'm like...getting stuff done. If only I was this productive when I actually need to be in the school year.

Last time we butchered a hog, when I shot it (.22), I ended up bleeding the whole damn pig out with one bullet. Done that more than once, not sure exaxtly how though. Just threw that out there for no reason.... lol
