Man going through dad's garage is like a time capsule / treasure hunt. I found my bat bag, with bat's, gloves, and cleats from high school :)

Factory head units out the ying yang, bits and pieces of about 14 bajillion different projects dad had going on :)

Dont hate....

But i get oak ply for $35 a sheet

MDf here isnt all that cheap though

Damn, Lowes has BB right now for $32 in 3/4. Oak was $31, and my two sheets of oversized MDF were a total of $21.97 today.

I bought this AWESOME Freud finishing blade for the saw. This thing slices through 3/4" MDF like it's styrofoam and leaves the prettiest edge. I've never seen a better edge or used a nicer blade. 40T titanium tipped carbide with some very nice cooling fins and it's only 1/16" thick. To top that off, it was only $20.

Went to Harbor freight to buy some brads, and they had a combination nailer/stapler on sale for $20. Picked that up cuz my Bostitch can only handle 1-5/8" brads max, while this cheapo can go up to 2", and as luck would have it, the ram in my Bostitch broke on me, so I had to use the new one. It never works like that. Irony. . .

Did the one from harbor freight come in the blow molded plastic case ? If it's the same one I got from them. It's actually not to bad. I have had one for about 6 years now, and it's still going strong. I picked up another at a clearance sale they had here recently for $10 . Couldn't pass that up :)

That's the one..

Ordered the part for my Bostitch last night. $6 shipped! Gotta love that. Once the cheap one takes a crap, it's back to the goods!

The staples come in handy sometimes too :)

Good morning all............well morning at least..........

God damn i am feeling so tired....................

DAMN IT!!!!!!!!!!

CBfryman, I just typed this huge response to the MAC v. PC ordeal. I am not going to type it all over again.

To get to the point, I have a lengthly background in MAC/PC and now gaining more unix everyday. I run MAC and PC at home, run all 3 at work. Skiping to next point, G5s ARE upgradeable, we have done it here at work many times. I read every post in the topic you posted, and the vast majority of those posts were made out of sheer ignorance. People were making negative comments about a platform and operating system they do not know much if anything about. I am not saying one is superior to the other, but there is a reason unix is still around, because it is super stable and very usable once learned. So it makes sence that Apple/MACs are now unix based, and now that they can run windows software it is saying something.

To me as I see it here at work everyone in my branch has 3 machines, slowly everyone is transitioning to G5, they are able to run all three and are very stable. The only issues we have had with our machines are power issues, and that has nothing to do with the operating system or the computer, it has to do with a building that was not wired to handle the current draw that we are putting on it.

I love my dell and I love my mac, but if I was forced to choose, I would take the G5 and smile. Not beating the dead horse again, just trying to clear a few things up. Once again not saying one is better than the other, only stating some facts.

:fing34:

denim...comparing a dell to a mac, you would say one is no better than the other :D

build your own stuff and use good parts.

Personally i love my Toshiba.............just use it for net, photography, music, and p0rn............oh yea some typing too.

I know what you mean about the garage Ramos, I helped my parents downsize to move closer to us. Part of the deal I made was that they could "store" anything that they want at my house. Holy friggin' chit was that dumb. I just had to rent a storage locker to deal otherwise the house is always a mess with too much chit. And to me the garage is just if not more important then the house.

cb u killed my post horing.............sniff : -'(
