What's up Jim?

First shop I went to is the high end of quotes...going to State Farm later today just to talk things over, I don't have collision on the van but maybe they can recommend places that they've dealt with. It doesn't need to look like it came out of the showroom, but then again, I want it done right.

I heard an upfiring port setup in a Ranger once...two 10" Rockford HX2's, amp rack, single port in the center.

Got decently loud, surprised me.

And the sq was....LOL.

Rockford "Fanatic" comps...in completely undampened Q-Logic kicks...YEEEEAAAHHHH

Oh, with an Alpine IVA-D310. Gots to have de indash, yo!

I can't wait to move, if the house we find doesn't break the bank a whole new HT setup is going in. I will be needing a pre-amplifier which I can work on later and already have the amps. Should rip alright:

100w x2 for the MB

60w x2 for the MR

60w x2 for the tweeters

100x1 for the center

950wx1 @ 8 for the substage

then I just need some little amp for the rears.

/\ going active at home, the bookshelves I am building first I will use as rears or maybe I'll just build another set. I don't really care about HT, really just 2chn audio but I want to be flexible since every house I have looked at only has 1 living room therefore music and theatre are going to be in the same area. I am sure the W will be happy that she will need to turn on 5 power switches to get the stereo on.

fixed and there it is. Go => High school => precalc or w/e

We didnt do much at all today. A dabble in y intercept, distance, and porportions.

Everything he said we are doing I either already know from algebra, physics, or learned on my own.

Did the Rose make it through the deer ordeal?

it's a tulip...lol

I'm probably going to lose the bottom foot of it or so where its head went into the side (actually the lesser part of the damage), but there was already damage to the airbrushing there for many years so I'm not worried about it.

Another reason why I need a steady, pretty well paying jorb...wait a year or so, buy a Pinz or Scout or 'Rover and turn the van into my pet SPL beater. In which case I'd let it get as ugly as possible.

jntar, you said to do upfiring for my mini right?

I hope so because that will lessen my headache.

and I can start building today.

Kent,

Better link on Baffle step -- http://www.t-linespeakers.org/tech/bafflestep/

I've read that about three or four times already, interesting stuff.

At college our engineering computer lab got dual monitor setups on all machines, its fricking SWEET!!!

I've got to go "interview" for a new job in the Civil engineering lab in about 5 minutes here, I don't think its gonna be to difficult, he already wants to hire me. :OhYeah:

Staying up til 3:15 am glassing kicks then waking up at 6am for a hair cut, not work in a few suxzorz.

Best quick lunch EVER!...

Grilled chese with near a quarter stick of real butter for lubrication, two slices of wisconsin sharp chedder, and some moutian dew.
