You should go hang out in an MRI lab. I wore a pair of Docs to one and of course going in you strip yourselves of metal. When they turned on the machine (20 feet away) it felt like me feet were being pulled out from underneath me. Holy friggin' strong magnetic field batmang.

I don't think they make 8ga needles...probably would be a bad idea anyway because of the tearing you'd get.

I had the nips done originally @ 12ga, but then tapered to 10 and finally 8...I lost one a year ago after a game of dorm hallway football, and the other I don't think ever really healed up properly after going from 10ga. I'll give it a few more months, if it doesn't look right after that I'll probably take it out.
