I got pwn'd

mostly my fault, chose the wrong parts to focus on.

Sounds like my college career. I learned a lot, just not what was on the tests.

just got through messing with the tweets in the stratus, the old ribbons that i had = teh suckage, i think they're trashed

seas 27TDFC vs Morel MDT29 morel hands down

everyone on htguide raved about the 27tdfc but i just don't like the sound, the morel is much gentler and in car only had a hump around 3khz and the seas were beyond my EQ'ing capabilities.

May be personal preference as i'm just about content running the poly mids full range

not really a review, just a drop in A vs B comparison, i tried running them both down to about 2khz, the morels were fine with it but the seas didn't sound very good at all.

the only other thing i noticed is that the seas are more sensitive by a noticeable amount, i don't recall which was supposed to be more sensitive though. Not a concern though since i've ran the morels off 35W and even that was too much at full tilt.

btw ryan if you still wanna play with the planars you're more than welcome to, hell you can have them, they might make good coasters

extremely lame, and i had to know pretty much every step and the mechanisms, thats the main part that pwn'd me

sup people

I want to do 8's in door pods in my truck... I'm not to fond of the bottom part of the door panel so I want to cut it off and do some fiberglass work to put 8's in there. I don't like the idea of kicks cause thats where my feet always are and I'd end up breaking something.

maybe exclusives and the morel tweets, but that'd be $300 on mids and the stratus needs kickpods and new mids before that happens...so maybe just stick with the daytons for now and save up for the morel tweets...yes

No, it wasn't. Everytime I click the checkout on the store, I get an error message.

Is it the parsed array keys error? What browser are you using on which IPB style?

This is an error that Sean and I worked on with Aaron and found that after viewing someone's profile, IPB added a cookie called "ipb-profile-view" or something like that. This seemed to conflict with the store coding, but once that cookie was cleared, it worked fine. However, I think we were all under the impression that it was fixed. Try clearing your cookies and go at it again.

Tweets and mids up for sale...hmm...roommate discount? :lol2:

are you interested in the tweets? no way in hell they'll fit in the van unless you have big plans for the dash

Pillars maybe.

I have about ten acres of windshield, I could cram large-format tweets in there and not block visibility :)

Have no real use for the mids, the Fostex's are the main towers and I still have that pair of 3 inchers I'm keeping for a smaller system...

eh i'll probably keep the mids forever anyway, for $25 each new i can't really justify selling them since the replacements would cost at least $70each

i wouldn't wanna see you trying to see out the van with large format tweets up there, if you angled them at all i bet it'd be in the way, thats why acres of dash > acres of windshield.

i was actually looking through my manual today and i swear i think i can fit an 8" sub behind the radio if i take the dash out and take the time to install it. will never happen, but would be cool
