Somewhat. Still have a ton of stuff going on.

Semester is winding down so that is nice. I'll have the summer (May-August) off to work elsewhere and keep plugging away on my research.

Got my research in on time to the journals so that was a huge relief.

Been really busy lately trying to fit in training along with work. I still do roughly two hours of work per night at home which is acceptable and necessary, but I would still like to get it down.

I have to do a whole bunch of reading on all of these new products and, hell, companies for that matter. If I'm not buying and testing products, I'm out of the loop.

Can I ask you guys something? When did you know what you wanted to do in life? I mean......when did you decide....in college I suppose, saying," this is what I want to do the rest of my life." I'm still waiting on that to hit me :-/

The only thing I've EVER REALLY wanted to do was play baseball. Unfortunately, when HS came around, I had to get a job to support myself as the parents mandated it, and sports went bye-bye.

After school, I got into an electrical apprenticeship. Got screwed out of that by the company AND my union. Was not happy, did NOT want to do the electrical thing again due to all the political BS around here.

Then I got into the automotive field which I have been involved in since birth. Wanted to be a mechanic. I LOVED to work on cars, until I did it everyday. After that, I never wanted to work on my own shit. So, that went by the wayside.

Now I have my maintenance job and I love it. I get to dabble in everything and I'm my own boss, so it's really tough to beat. The pay could be better, but on a whole scope, nothing else I've ever done can compete with what I'm doing now.

I'd still love to be a porn star though.

Exact same chit going on here... I've spent the last hour looking at career assesment/personality assesment stuff to see what good "careers" are for people like me. 'Bout all of them say engineering, but I don't want to do all this calc and physics chit, I just don't get it. I enjoy figuring out how stuff works, but by taking it apart and looking at it, then putting it back together. I quite frankly don't give a damn about the theory behind any of it.

I just graduated college and still have no clue. I'm actually taking some community college now to dabble in something else.

College was really lame for me b/c I was never exposed to much of anything outside of my major.

If I was you I would just try taking a variety of classes and searching online for various occupations.
