i hate it when your the first person asked to do something, yet the last person anyone really wants anything to do with or talk to. even when it's extremely important. i mean, i'm great to have around when the car is broken, the grass needs mowed, or anything else the people responsible for it won't be responsible enough to take care of. or when someone bigger then them threatens them, or someone who isn't afraid of a bluff is talking shit, then let's get kent. i'm like mikey from life cereal. noone else will do it, kent will. he's not scared, he's got tools, he's got everything we need to do what we don't want to do. and he won't say no. he doesn't wnat to fight with the wife over it, or have to deal with all the bullshit guilt trips later when months from now, it's still not right. so he does it.

but when his soon to be 4 year niece is molested by her soon to be 6 year old cousin, do we get told right away? noooo. we find out 3 days later. and then get yelled at for bieng pissed off. everybody wants to blow it off, but we want something done. can't blame the boy, he didn't know any better. bullshit! when retards breed, you typically get a retard. that's not his fault, but goddamnit, his father is a convicted child molestor, has been accused of molesting his son and his mother is a certified imbecile who's been molested, don't tell me the path wasn't shown to the boy. that's not enough sign? and the grandparents, on both sides? stupid fat, lazy motherfuckers. why isn't it legal to kill stupid people?

oh, and how do i find out my great uncle is dead? the fucking newspaper. a town of 7000 people, and to learn of my uncle's death yesterday, i had to read it in the paper today. nice. real fucking nice. he lived a good long life, into his 90's, but sonofabitch, we are his family. let a motherfucker know somthing, will ya? how fucking hard is it to pick up the fucking phone?

and the boss, oh my beloved employer. doesn't write a motherfucking thing down, randomly pulls the big bills outa the drawer because his already full wallet needs a refill, bounces payroll checks (he's been lucky in that one of mine hasn't bounced) and yet can't ssee where he's doing anything wrong! WTF?!?!? we don't do a depoist, don't track inventory, he let's one of the installers use the shop has a personal garage, and let's said installer just walk away from paying jobs to work on friend's/relative's vehicles during business hours....YET...can't see what's wrong. everything we order is COD, his debt is through the motherfucking roof, his retarded ass girlfriend is a moron and yet...he can't see anything wrong. yeah, i must just be seeing things....

yeah, i was certified on two seperate occasions.. each certification is different. there is certification for flat, overhead, vertical up and down, carbon, stainless, aluminum, TIG, MIG and arc. so what you weld will depend on the certification yoru trying to achieve. quick example, a 1G certification is a flat weld on carbon steel. it involves a drag root, and however many passes required after that to fill the channel, try to stay with as few passes as possible. . after which, it is cut into three pieces. the pieces are then put into a press and bent on the face and the root. clean break and your ok. no break and your berries. break and there is pinholes, you fail.

i'd ask what he wants you to certify in, it can be researched online to give you an idea of what your going to need to do.
