ok well thx ryan and ramos I mean whenever beatdominator and prowler were saying lower my price I was thinking, "man I know it doesn't go for lower than 200 that's just bullchit."

so I'll hold on until I get someone that will pay what I'm asking. It's not like it's an arm and a leg.

Evan was just being an ass, and Prowler was just messing around. no reason to worry about them.

Hey James, long time no see

how're things?

The usual ... Got a job interview on Tuesday morning as a computer technician ... A little bit of a paycut from what I do now (Computer sales for $9/hour + commission down to $12/hour to start, which is weaksauce), but it'll give me more experience in the field ...

i think we need to implement a new ihop rule, no talking about real life work/careers until i have one. I'm REALLLY dreading having to go into the field and try to land a job with only a 4yr degree in bio

$12/hour is not a career ... :P Someone as smart as I am should be making at least double that ...

Fortunately, this experience should open up some doors in the future that otherwise would've been unavailable to me ... Hopefully, very lucrative doors ... I already make $30/hour on the side teaching old people to use the basic functions of Windows, fixing your basic problems (viruses/spyware, etc.), and building computers through a newpaper advertisement and word of mouth, but I want to make more than that :P

I need you guys to help pick me out a HU. I love the Pioneer D3, but it's $700-$800 and I don't really need Navigation... I love the look of it though, so can you guys recommend me some that don't have navigation and aren't as expensive, but still look 'clean' and have good features/long life?

oh, and I don't want one that flips out, I want one that sits flush.

here's some examples of what I mean

i don't recall the model number, but pioneer has a double din in dash 6 disc changer/dvd player that looks exactly like the d3. it's a pimp ass unit i wanted to put in the trailblazer for the wifey, but she wouldn't let me spend the money :(

i'll try and dig up a model number.

shouldn't need to touch the frame for an extended hump grip safety. when you do the combat style hammer, macke sure the grip safety/beavertail is notched for it.

don't forget to add an extended slide release and thumb safety, melt the edges and you'l have a pimp ass 1911.

you have to cut the edges on the gi frame cause it isn't rouned for the beavertail safety, an it has the extended slide release, that's the latest edition, no need for the extended safety though, with my tiny hands the safety is perfect

That's pretty cool James...sometimes I wish I would have stayed with the computer field (I threw away 44 hours of computer networking I had to switch to X-ray school) but I just got tired of doing it. It wasn't really fun anymore. Oh well :)
