  • Chill- Lemme break it down as simple as I can on some of us here. The IHoP is like a big dysfunctional family. -M5 would be the uncle everyone respects and takes advice from. We may not like how he p

Looks like an old man is gonna have to come out of spl retirement and layeth the smacketh down on a few people. Tired of kids with diareah of the mouth :(

To continue the previous conversation: 9 sub manufacturers and 2 of them make mids. No tweeters. Something is missing on SSA.

It's missing everywhere, unfortunately. AA is a step in the right direction but it would be nice to get a home audio speaker presence here.

I had to look up parkade.

Let me guess, woman driving a sport ute with probably either a babyseat, coloring book, or most likely a soccer ball in the back seat.

No, just people in general. Drive too slow, brake at random, drive the wrong direction, etc. Quite maddening.

Need some opinion for the substage in the basement, 2.2 cubes sealed for each driver, stereo bass. Do I want forward firing, or downward firing? I've never had any luck with anything but downward firing setups but then I've always had wimpy drivers.

I wouldn't do downfiring exclusively because your location isn't permanent. You might find side, back, or front to be best and of course all of them can really be the same enclosure. Go big and go sealed!

Damn , there is an armored car for sale for $1500 locally . Bet that would make one hell of an extreme vehicle . Wonder what it would take to flex it :D

sup Mr. adrian :)

the jeep is a bitch to work on, audio-wise :(

i had to ghetto it and cut a hole through the glove box to run the rca's...i'm not sure if the hu will sit nicely on the dash..

guess that's what i get if i want an active front stage.

got 1/0 today....50$ for 15 ft seems like a good deal...

That's better than local prices around here . IT's anywhere from $3-$9 a foot locally :(

well with 2kchevy's luck selling his 8053 i think i might end up putting mine in dad's car and doing a cheapo active frontstage in his.

My original idea for my door panels isn't going to work out for me... so hacking them up is in store. I should have a few pics up late tonight :)

How much bigger than 2.2 cubes stuffed would you go?

I'd backfire into a corner personally. Looks like you could do it in your room no problem.

What drivers?

2.2 stuffed should sound great, don't want to go too big if you are using them for more than just LFE in movies.

I meant go big with the drivers. 15's 18's whatever you can really fit.
