I hope I get a p9 this time.....I got screwed out of the last P9 deal I tried to make. If I don't get this one I'll forever just go the h701 route. Only problem is, I have no idea were to buy the DEQ, guess I'll have to keep an eye out on ebay.

Not sure why I got the h701 though , got the damn p9 combo sitting in the garage . Think I can hide the 701 under the seat in the chitbox though . Hard to hide that big shiny silver p9 in the dash

i need car help again, ordering exhaust wrap, (err header wrap?). two questions..

#1. woven ceramics VS fiberglass which is more effective? i don't care about much else, just which one works better and is there enough of a difference for me to give a damn

#2. how much do i need? most is 2" wide, remember i only have a v-6 but i still have the crossover pipe as well, i'm guessing 20-25' would be plenty but it seems 50' rolls are the norm.

I used the ceramic stuff on the Cobra. Get it as thin as possible. I tried the 2" stuff and it was impossible to work with. The thinner stuff will work a HELL of a lot better and conform to tighter bends with ease.

I've heard you really don't want to use exhaust wrap. It can cause all kinds of problems with the pipes. Coatings are a far better choice.

my friend ran into a problem when he decided to wrap his headders. and at the same time he wrapped the intake tubes, which helped way more then the headder tubes. it dropped his boost temp drop by 3 degrees i think. or maybe it was 4 but still it added a whopping 1 hp lol. well like 9/10th's of a hp according to the dyno.

Your friend is full of shit. Wrapping his intake is going to do nothing more than INCREASE his intake temps by the mere fact that it is holding more heat in versus dissipating.
