autopilot and universal sonar >> than others as well . :)

:orly:

autopilot is useful?? I have never had the pleasure and of course in a pompous way scoffed when I heard about it. it sounds like I was a bit eager to protect my wallet,

Extremely usefull . Following weedlines in the river is a piece of cake :)

There have to be a ton of those labs near you. Have you blind searched any companies you really want to work for?

Let me lay this on you a bit. At this point in your life you are cheap, therefore if you are mildly qualified for a position a firm probably wants you since they will not have to pay you as much. You can probably guess my recommendation next...go find where you want to work and help them hire you. When you put the word "tech" in a position, your price and capabilities really make you an effective way to get things done. You work for someone who is really into something, but do the things for him. Should be an easy fit and a spot with a very well defined growth path.

If you are having problems finding companies, finding contacts at companies, or want someone to read you resume feel free to PM me. I know that the economy isn't whipping right now, but it seems to me that in particular what you are looking to do shouldn't be. LA+ is also a pretty good bio-tech spot.

Anything in particular you are interested in to narrow the field? I'd start there as those companies should have a vested interest in you since you are already interested in what you can bring them.

To be honest, I'm not very particular about the type of lab tech work I'd do right now. It's too hard to be picky at this point. I'm having a hard time finding entry level positions that require little to no industry experience (i.e. recent college grads). I'll probably send you a PM sooner or later and really appreciate the offer to help.

I was just wondering, is it better to show up to the company buildings and apply in person or is it fine to apply online?

Thanks for the offer on the resume review, but I had a cousin in the business write it up for me :P

Face to face, phone to phone, is >>>>> online. You need to make them make it personal with you otherwise you are a number and not a person.

oh my, I suppose it would then works in lakes as well and considering Minnetonka has crazy weedlines...

probably , that's about the only thing I use it for , and love it for it . It can parallel weedlines perectly with out me doing anything . Perfect for when I have the nephews with me and I have to keep dealing with them constantly :)

The sonar transducer inside the motor head is pretty handy too in the shallow rivers around here . Trolling motor props are a chit ton cheaper than sonar transducers are :)

We need another filter... front stage = front end, since there is no other type of staging.

what about the people with really strong rear fill , that makes you feel like your sitting right in the middle of the band :)

Guess that would be called sitting on the stage :woot:

Actually my beef in that regard is the word substage. No such thing. How is a non-directional music source a stage? I do agree there is only one stage, but it is the front stage.

Another good filter would be: rear fill = stupid waste of money

i really need to get a better soundcard. put the scope on mine today and it looked like total crap above 4kHz. even with all the volumes all the way down. i guess that's why the tweeters seem a bit bright

the 9813 on the other hand looked quite nice :)

screw frontstage, it's a back stage pass

Its all about the tweeters on the c pillars baby!!!!

there it is my finished work ima try this box first and if dont like it i have a friend that needs a box and ima sell it to him, :domoslay: ima try it first to see how it does if it does good i keep it if not sold. i will have videos pretty soon.

does that look like a prefab to anyone else?

Yes, it looks like a pre-fab to me as well. The fact that there are no marks on the inside of the box, the way the carpet is, and the fact that all the caulk on the box is even and very well laid out.

But then maybe he is just that anal of a box builder, I haven't seen any of his other work so I don't know.
