Long tube headers, electric cutoff, and some quiet but minimally restrictive mufflers (if they exist)

Already have mid-length headers which are good enough

I'm getting 2.5" mandrel bent pipes, but I just don't know what which mufflers to go with

looking at the Dynomax Super Turbo, UltraFlo SS, and UltraFlo Welded and the Flowmaster 50 Series

this would be easier if I could find flow ratings for the Flowmasters

Dynomax has some flow charts on their website, but then it is on Dynomax's website so of course they come in top dog.

yeah, I've heard the Flowmaster's don't flow too well, but I don't know what that's in comparison to, they could be good enough

I'm also not sure on the sound of the Dynomaxes

It's not all about flow on mufflers. Some vehicles benefit from more back pressure than others. Full-through mufflers are prone to higher HP numbers but lower torque numbers. The only time you ever really have to worry about flow rates on mufflers is in racing, or with forced induction. For a street car, it's all about sound. Besides, being able to expel more gasses means nothing if you can't stuff more air into it.

anyone here? over...

bout friggin time...

ok so who are you going to see and where?

ended up spending the rest of the evening working the brother-in-law's van, didn't get a damn thing done on the fiero, but i'm getting ready to go drop the gas tank just to make sure it's "ok"

ok, just make sure there's a lit match under it when you drop it...
