I'd much rather have the D310. Then again I'm not a video game person at all really...

yeah I've always wanted one too. I agree with you, really I do. I dunno once I got the "console" bug out of my system and basically beat guitar hero(well except for expert) I just don't want it anymore. I've always wanted a d310/h701 combo anyways ;) . Sell the 8053 to get the h701 fing05.gif

Most likely another all nighter tonight...maybe this time I'll get some company...

I pulled one last night because I had to be up early to mow my parents house. I'm on about 3 hours of sleep right now, I just took a nap basically.

I do have some math homework I need to do after dinner.

Now I realize why I didn't go back on Audiokarma.org.

I guess I'm living vicariously for liking college sports...and for not agreeing that all collegiate athletes are felons or felons-in-training...

Why do some people have a pucking chronic need to walk REALLY SLOWLY down a sidewalk?

I think it's the same kind of people who stop right in the middle of an aisle when shopping, nevermind that there's a whole flow of traffic thing going on behind them.

Just got home from Houston Raceway park. Saw the Worlds Fastest Diesel Truck (I guess Quickest is the correct terminology). It ran 8.34 on 3/4 Throttle and 50 PSI of boost. The engine is capable of 115 PSI but they can't keep the tires from spinning

115psi? wow.

Actually, I'm going to be one of the few with this opinion on this event...

Very few things truly blew me away and impressed me. I really liked the B&W's I heard, the McIntosh line arrays, and the Cain and Cain room, and those are the only ones that I actually really liked. Everything else sounded good, don't get me wrong, just not all that much truly impressed me. I figured out more of what I need to do for starting to manufacture/sell speakers and for them actually to sell.

I was expecting to see lots of designs I'd never seen or thought about before, I didn't see any. :( I also didn't see a lot of designs I have thought up and drawn out, so I think I've got an ability to market new stuff design wise when I get time to build them. There was very little woodwork that I was truly impressed with too, also, I was disappointed in the fact that I figured out how every single speaker was made basically and the techniques used to make it. I wanted something that I would have to stand there, look at, scratch my head and then ask how they made it.

One of these days I am going to have a room there, and use all normal and average price cables rather than having 10k in cables hooking everything up. McIntosh had normal cabling hooking everything thing up and I smiled when I saw that rather than the oddball high end bull chit cables. I want good speakers, an old beat up QSC rack amp, decent cables (nothing exotic), and see what people think. *Hiding the amps/cables/everything*

Also, I wish people would stop putting blue LED's in stuff, I can't read crap if its in blue LED's, also, it looks cool but its annoying when 1" acrylic equipment racks are lit up using blue LED's.

One also has to realize though, I went there with a different viewpoint on what I wanted to get out of it compared to everyone else there. I went there to talk to firms and possibilities of getting internships and what not, see what people who are actually selling are doing, what price ranges are, what design aspects are getting them to sell and what not.

I really enjoyed going to it, I learned quite a bit of stuff and would like to go back next year.

Why do some people have a fucking chronic need to walk REALLY SLOWLY down a sidewalk?

People who can only focus on one thing at a time have a tendency to annoy me.

Cannot wait to sleep tonight, but I got to do some statics before hand, and football keeps getting in the way.

I'm actually going to win on all three of my leagues this week too bad my opponents' combined record is 1-14 this season. Some how I'm playing the worst team in everyone of my leagues
