If you're going with two channels, there's really no reason to buy a receiver. Especially something made in the last ten years or so.

Although there's one or two decent ones being built now, broadcast radio still sucks around here though.

Was going to do a 2.1 HT but decided it was little too much money at the time. But now I'm working so it may be a little different soon. I want to build some of these for my laptop, but don't have too much time nor can I really find amps that are "good" because I don't know much about or have the time (there it is again) to learn about it.

I will follow the thread as well because if you like it enough I may just play copy cat :P

Why those?

Amazing midbass doesn't happen out of tiny enclosures...:)

True, but nearfield monitor plans that are readily available and cheap aren't very common either. A small stereo sub setup playing into the *puke* midbass range hidden under your desk could make them a rather neat solution.

Yeah, don't use them :)

:D lol, while I agree I also disagree. It really depends on the source material for me. The surreal response of a full range for in particular vocals can't be beat, but when you start to add complex rhythm sections and music with a lot of high frequency content I get a bit less excited. Of course, I haven't heard any designs that are raved about and am more than willing to sample.

welp, I'll either be getting a Mogul or cash to go towards my d310 purchase for the big 21 B/D.

I have alltel , I just know that sprint calls the version they sell a Mogul. Yeah I really want a D310 myself but I had to give my parents "options." Worse comes to worse I'll just sell my 8053 plus have the cash from my 360 and then just save. No big deal honestly.

Give them options taht are easier to return than the mogul :D

A new Samsung LCD TV would be nice fing05.gif

Laminate?

They looked pretty damn good as they were...
