I definitely wouldn't have any input into that, the last few shows I went to the average age was at least a decade older than me

New 'peeka time

Outlook gave me a notice today that a bunch of my certifications require renewal early next year. I try to schedule a week or two every three years to re-cert (aka spend a shitload of money for nothing) the certifications that need to be updated.

Nothing like spending a ton of money just so I can add fifteen different combinations of letters to the end of my name. Oh well. In all reality you spend $20-$50K to add BA or BSc to your name and all you get is some lame piece of paper and STD's I mean a well-rounded education

Interesting. I honestly was pretty surprised at the amount of midbass those things can produce, I'm sure with the taller versions like Ryan & Lukas have it does better, but even the smaller ones do a fair job. They didn't do so hot on AC/DC, but then again I remember hearing "Live Wire" on bi-amped Altecs that were a good 20dB/W higher in efficiency than these

They're a dream for acoustic/folk. Which is good because I have a lot of it

All they need are a set of new socks and a light sanding of the wood pieces and they'll look basically new...for 30-year old speakers, I'm not complaining

My maggies don't have enough midbass for me. I love 'em, but they need more, something more along the lines between my maggies and my BIB's would be awsome.

Same boat here...except for me the last rock/pop show I went to not only was everyone a decade older it was about a decade ago. Been to lots of other shows since but I wouldn't call them mainstream at all.

*note by pop I don't mean the stupid genre, but instead the original intent of the word which of course was popular
