Interesting night. Spent time at an investor meeting for a new product developed by the guy who was behind a lot of the Pio Elite, the Sonic amps, Tad, did sound for GnR, and a whole bunch of other shit. About to release a tactile driver for turning just about anything into a speaker. His demo was pretty darn interesting in particular considering the sale price. Expect to see something pretty exciting for built in sound in Lowe's come February. Guy is a fricking genius and a lot of fun to have some beers with. :)

can we hear some more about this "anything for a speaker?"

And for the roids............Clemens and Vaughn were surprises to me. Not Vaughn as much as Clemens, but I am upset by this. 2 guys that as a kid I REALLY looked up to as ballplayers.

:(

Nope jamie doesn't , my boy griffey doesn't either . I pitched batting practice for him a couple times in 1989 during his short stint with the san bernandino spirirts. The man can flat out hit :)

Still saddens me how the injuries have messed with Griffey, the guy is what baseball should be. We wouldn't be saying anything about Bonds if he stayed healthy.

he has the sweetest swing(griffey) i use a signature griffey bat for baseball, though my swing is nothing like his.

i haven't seen the report, hopefully a-rod isn't on it. i think he'll topple bonds, and i like how he plays the game. he didn't choke as much in the playoffs this year either.

and that's all the baseball i know, lol

I've never really liked A-rod that much. He's always been portrayed (through the media) as a cocky arrongant bastard, but since his forgoing his agent, I have come to have much respect for him. The man can play, perhaps better than anyone. He makes all this money, yet comes out everynight and plays. That's how you know he truly loves the gam, and I don't know how many of the guys still play just for that. I was pissed when he came to the Bronx, but have grown to tolerate him. Perhaps now, I can actually enjoy him as a player, but we'll see. At this point in the game, health is all that matters.

yeah, foregoing his agent to stay in new york was cool, though necessary to stay in the game. i don't think anyone is worth $275m to play a game, but i understand the fact he brings in money for everyone as well. not too mention what he's putting his body through, though baseball isn't quite as hard on the body as say football or hockey.

but he does play the game. and he plays it everynight he's supposed to. and he plays it the right way. and that's why i like him. hopefully, he'll stay healthy for 10 more years and finish on top of the sport.

Can't say a whole ton, and I won't say the fidelity is the absolute best but for the price point it is pretty incredible. Basically a flat panel that uses out of phase interference to focus music instead of in-phase. The packaging can be pretty much anything, but mostly comes with a piece of drywall attached. You take out a section of your wall and replace it with the drywall speaker. Another packaging is an adhesive front which you peel and stick a painting and then put it in a frame. Going to provide some pretty cool flat wire that is mud-able as well.

The guy is nutsy clever. He bought an Iphone two weeks ago and has hacked it to wirelessly transmit music all throughout his including different music and different video to different rooms.

He has a lot of other things in the works, but those you will see soon.

this the turn your drywall into a speaker guy I've been hearing about?

Damn calling for nice weather hear tomorrow night and sunday :(

What brand of wood (or wood-looking) veneer have you guys had good luck with?

I'm looking for something to cover the top and bottom metal parts of the Maggies, PE has iron-on and self-adhesive stuff, I'd think something iron-on would be more durable...

Maybe Zalytron or Madisound has a better selection...hmmm.

Never used any of the plastic stuff . Only the wood kind you glue on :(

Glue on is the only kid I used, but I only did it once.
