  • Chill- Lemme break it down as simple as I can on some of us here. The IHoP is like a big dysfunctional family. -M5 would be the uncle everyone respects and takes advice from. We may not like how he p

BTW, you need more posts :P

I'm too audio retarded to post anything worth reading. If it weren't for Sean, I would be running two DIYMA 12's for a high output setup. I can't imagine what my box would look like if it weren't for Sean and Kent.

I have a lot to learn

I can and it froze me up like a deer in headlights not all that plesant

I am glad the stereo is off in the other room as there are no local speakers on this computer...I will probably forget to come back and try as well.

I tried it, I could hear it no problem on 20$ computer speakers.

I have a tradeshow in Tucson so probably not though.

what show is it?

MEMS 2008 (IEEE)

Microstructures and such. Things like the DLP mirrors, airbag switches, rf telecom switches and such. Everything there you can't see without a microscope though so measuring dynamics is tricky unless you have one of our systems :)

ah, looks pretty cool though

The Ihop is not about audio knowledge

Sean, you're missing out on good shows here again

World of Wheels this weekend

Barret-Jackson and Russo Steele auctions next weekend

Damnit, already have my tickets but I am travelling four weeks in a row so the w gets the weekends. I assume you saw that 4 of the top 7 contenders on the Dynomax challenge came from MN. :)

I did not. I'll try to get some pics of the shows/auctions though.

I need to build two woofer boxes, and finish my Mileva's all before monday afternoon.

I can get the woofer boxes done (2.2 cubes sealed, double layer front baffle) its just waiting on the f'ing paint and stain to dry on the Mileva's that is going to get me into trouble.

much better than knowing it all

here's a teaser, ignore the red vacuum line, we were just using whatever we had to get them right, they will be redone later with all black

looks like Packers or Cowboys vs. Patriots in Arizona this year...

WTF is up with these Jaguar players jumping around like a jackrabbit on meth

Some of the absolute worst news today...did my appointment to check my hearing and somewhere in the last 3 years I have lost too much bandwidth on the top end...trouble hearing anything above ~17 kHz. The bottom end is still there, but my heart sank a lot when I got the news. :(

I should test what mine is, but I know I can hear 20k at least, since the guys at work were messing around on Friday & were playing tones in that range on our frequency generator to annoy me.
