I know its different angles but I finished at night in a different location so the same pics didn't yield the same results....

And before I took pics I power washed it good at the local place so it was sorta clean. I probably spent an hour and a half getting road tar off the rocker panels :/

So is it worth it to get an eclipse headunit just for the 8v preouts, when i like the look of other radios? or just buy a line driver?

Just couldn't think of anything else to BS about

BTW 12008 :madrofl:

I'd probably get the W200 then, if I was in your position.

That's the direction I was leaning.

Plus then I could put the 9860 in the wife's van and add a monitor in the rear for the kiddies.

I just don't want to spend the money :( Time to scavange the house for items to toss on ebay....LOL

No to both questions.

High voltage preouts aren't really all that important.

Audiobahn and Bazooka are da shiznit bra. WATTS AND WATTS OF POWER :gheybandwgn::banhim:

Actually up at a descent hour (9:00)

This semester I'll be getting up at 7 or earlier MWF and 8:30 TTh. With work, school and workout program I don't see much fun this semester :( Then I'm working the entire summer :(, but come next fall I'll be the richest fuggin college student I know :woot:

Some of the absolute worst news today...did my appointment to check my hearing and somewhere in the last 3 years I have lost too much bandwidth on the top end...trouble hearing anything above ~17 kHz. The bottom end is still there, but my heart sank a lot when I got the news. :(

Neil, if you are older than 20 that is really pretty normal. Do realize to that if you were listening to music on the way in it may not be gone, but just "masked". To amuse yourself test your hearing on your own right away in the morning and then go for a drive with the windows down for 20 minutes and check it again. It wouldn't be unusual to lose a kHz or even 2.

I should test what mine is, but I know I can hear 20k at least, since the guys at work were messing around on Friday & were playing tones in that range on our frequency generator to annoy me.

I wouldn't believe the function generator then.

You are being too nice. 8v is unecessary and a line driver is a waste of money. If you don't have noise higher voltage won't do anything, if you do have noise you have another issue you should fix instead.

i'm awake... last night was a blast,

me, dave, heather, ramos, julie, ale (the italian ex-roomie), and thomas (german) all went out drinking. I ended up staying mostly sober but that made waking up today much easier.

Always noticed more details in the morning..right after I wake up :)

and i discovered that heather (dave's wife for those that don't know) is VERY mean when she's drunk.
