my dad bought these home audio speakers a long time ago and they finally died.

can anybody help me find the specs on them. also if u have heard of them tell me what ya think i

plan on replacing the tweets and woofer with speakers that will fit the specs of the old ones.

I know there are a bunch of people that have RS series speakers over on http://www.audiokarma.org, they could help you out finding the closest replacements available.

What do you mean they "died", though? Surrounds need to be refoamed?

I'm not even close to being done yet - I have lots of information for you and everyone else. I really have no problem shedding light on the subject. I hope people find it useful and don't hesitate to ask questions if they don't understand something or want more information.

Unless you find exact replacements, you're going to have speakers that won't match up well to the existing crossover...of course, you could start tweaking the Xover to suit the new drivers...but then you're on your way to making them a different pair of speakers
