  • Chill- Lemme break it down as simple as I can on some of us here. The IHoP is like a big dysfunctional family. -M5 would be the uncle everyone respects and takes advice from. We may not like how he p

i really wanted to bust out a sig figure remark in that thread too, i know he's going to say he can keep his room within 1degree. by that definition there's only two sig figs so any spl testing would have to be rounded to 130, 140, 150

assuming that temp comes in to play when sound moves through air. :-D

he says i pre judged.....grrr

i had no opinion of him before he started posting!

one class tomorrow.. and a test in that class.

but then...laundry

Not to be too sentimental, but we have a very good eclectic group here...I think we would be hard-pressed to find a topic that one of us doesn't have the answer for, audio or otherwise. It's really quite awesome.

Hell yeah! Thats why this became my new forum home. Because anything from a N00B question to the most advanced can be answered in a scientific and dignified manner

.

Forum has also picked up quite a bit since I first joined as well if I'm not mistaken

Agreed. In lieu of a long winded post...

The knowledge on this site is just astounding, and I'm glad that I can provide just a little bit to the site. *On the construction/woodworking aspect* :)

It has. :)

I'm quite interested to see Steve's other topics on the mental aspect. I've had some training/experience in the mental game, but it has been in an entirely different field (competition pistol, international style). Always good to look at something from multiple sides. :)

If anyone is interested in my method of painting for speakers/steel I'll be painting some MTM's here in a week or two and I can take some photos and do a small write up on it. Not very hard, uses rustoleum paint, cheap, and looks good.

So I need to come up with a cheap hairbrained idea to use 6 Mach 5 Audio MLI 6.5's... I've got this box sitting on my floor begging me to be used...

If I would have been thinking I would have bought a lot more and made a line array, but it happens. Two have intentions of going in my roommates truck, but thats quite aways off.

of course we want pictures

Who doesn't want a good ratrod?

I know it's not just me, but I really do not like the polished and "perfect" rods...I like flat black, old school, with a bad ass v8.

I've got 2 ideas for cars that I've never really seen done before. I just need to learn how to work metal and to gain lots of spare time.

Interested!

Been looking at the home audio section tonight. I think its bad for me to do that, just gives me ideas...

What type of learning to work metal? If it's welding, MIG is pretty easy to pick up on quickly. TIG takes a bit more practice. Or are you talking about hammer and dolly work?

But maybe you want to be really old school and lead the body instead of body filler. ;)
