decisions decisions decisions....

old school RF would be sweet in the fiero, but it's hard to find them in good condition that's affordable.

maybe i'll just go with sundown, they have a pretty plain look.

two power 1000s would just be pimp though.

and more than flexible enough to run any damn thing i'd ever want.

One of those multichannel a/d/s plates takes up next to no room...no onboard anything, just power/input pigtails and a heatsink.

"Idle" current of 6.2 amps,

also a possibility, nearly anything around that time has the old school look. and so long as they're not too wide they will fit behind the seats and leave room for wiring/distro.

ok, so I've covered the entire floor of the Imp in one layer (~40 sq feet), I'm trying to decide if I want to do another layer everywhere or just in the important areas (front foot wells, above the mufflers). I've got about 50 sq feet left.

Sean, noticed you mentioned that...I'm not a big fan of whizzered drivers, but it might be a great candidate for a whizzer-ectomy and a phase plug put there instead. (Basically what's done to the Fostex 206E to make it listenable on the top end)

That motor reminds me a lot of Goodmans stuff...

Jim, as for your worry about SSA turning out like AVS, hehe I won't let that happen. That place is a mess and makes the amount of sections on here seem low.

Whats AVS?

A home audio forum with 40x the post we have here, yes 40x.

Basically any car (assuming I buy brand new) or truck I want all get in the area of 22-27 MPG and cost between 28 and 40 grand...bugger...oh well, my Silver's still running strong so meh...
