Found my CTS at the dealership today. The guy didn't call me because it already has 80,000km's on it and it is a 2005. He found an '05 in Manitoba with only 17,000km's on it listed for $24,900. Looks like they are out there ... just need to find the right one.

Was in mint shape too. Black on black, all of the options I want ... just too many miles.

A new monster mod is coming out for sure, perhaps they will do a pushrod engine and it will be a Windsor...but for sure it won't be the 351w of old. They said new.

So does Ford think that just because Chevy is still using the ole pushrod design that is a direct descendant of the one designed in the '50's they need to bring their pushrod 5.0 back??

The only reasons I can think of for Ford to do this would be reduced production costs and less weight.

A Ford 5.0 is going to be really hard pressed to match a LS2 or LS3 for output though.

With equal displacement why do you think the general can extract more power than Ford?? That seems absurd, in particular since the Ford design will be all new and the LS is now nearly 10 years old.

When all out honest, a 4.6 mod motor is = to a ls1 power output.

Nissans are a wreck when it comes time to work on them...of course nothing beats my old Q for that though. $600 fucking' front brakes in parts alone.

The real advantage of the LS is the aftermarket support...almost the only advantage.
