SC is fudgeed.

period.

I'll agree with that.

i need PSU advice for this damn laptop. I plan on getting two sticks of ram, 1gig each PC2-4200 and a PSU, i'm guessing 500W will be sufficient.

running a 3.4ghz or so processor, dvd burner and two hard drives, only added cards are wireless card, everything else is on motherboard.

fucker is still being incredibly unreliable, at this point i can only imagine that the random overheating from the PSU has killed the memory?

it should be obvious i don't know a whole lot about computers but anyone that has recommendations for ram or a PSU let me know.

Not a good day.

Dad had a stroke this afternoon & when they did their thing to find the source of bleeding on his brain, they found an aneurysm.

He's in good condition right now waiting for surgery.

I'm sitting in a hotel room in Ottawa waiting for a 6am flight into Regina.

x3, not to be morbid but be glad they found the problem now,

Yep, very well could be. Haven't heard when he'll get in for surgery, and glad the stroke wasn't a major one. Still, he isn't out of the woods yet.

Matt: I don't see a problem with those parts, although I have been out of the computer game for a couple of years so I'm not up on all new stuff at all. They are on the cheap side, but then I have had pretty good luck with the cheap stuff in the past so I'd say go ahead and go for it.

YAY (sarcastic) range tomorrow...........hopefully more luck than last time...........

And hopefully the handgun range too!!!!

J
