Just got done driving the Chevelle, I love that car. :)

i bet so. i wanna take a lil ride in one of those :)

Its a nice car to ride/drive in, original 396/325hp so its not exactly fast but it does get out of its own way. Needless to say I'm smart enough not to go try and drag race it, I have a pretty good idea on how many new factory cars would beat it/give a run for its money, and its a lot.

I just love driving it, it handles great, awesome throttle response, decent brakes, drives straight, etc, etc. I just can't figure out why I haven't driven a car that I enjoy driving as much as the Chevelle, I've driven lots faster cars, just not one thats as nice to drive.

Its Olympic Gold with black stripes down the side, looks pretty nice still too. There are a few pictures floating around the site if you are good with the search function.

Absolutely nothing like the feel of old iron.

Speaking of throttles, I througly despise the gas pedal in our '04 Chevy 2500HD w/ the 6.0L. It must be a electronic? setup on the throttle because it is the most lifeless pedal EVER.

I hate drive-by-wire throttles as well.

Yes, I have a picture for you Tom, but it'll have to wait till sunday when I get back to Manhattan and the cable for my camera.

:woot::)

Picture of it in a parking lot, and a short video from 20-90 of the speedo. I think you can hear the car, I had the window down for you Tom. :)

Its hard to beat a bigass car, comfy (to me) seat, big block, no radio, and the windows rolled down.

it's a radio delete car too?

Naaa, its got an AM only, but it doesn't work. :P I'd like to take it out, rebuild it, get the AC working, rebuild the brakes and make a power tour in it.

I think that might have to wait till I buy my own or buy this one though...

Dad and I are going to Wichita tomorrow to Boeing's Surplus sale, never know what your going to find there. :)

nice, I'm sure there's some really cool stuff there

Its always interesting what you find there, some is overpriced for what is is, and some is pretty cheap too.

You should get that done before June, I'll be coming right by you ;)

South Park is simply genius. The episode where they kill Britney Spears and base it over the short story on "The Lottery" is seriously quite amazing. allusion, extended metaphor, satire, etc...

And people say its just some dumb show. I think one day people will be studying South Park like Shakespeare.

I don't know if I would go that far, but they've really stepped things up since they started.

Actually someone gave me there theory on what the world will study in the future and it was probably one of the most intellectually deep things this guy as ever said in his life, but I will save it for another time. I need to get to bed. Got work in the AM

My 68 Galaxie was by far the most comfortable car I have ever owned. By far.
