Definitely part of the most boring part of your journey though. It's flaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat between here and there.
Pffft, western kansas/eastern colorado is even worse I'll bet.

crap, I go through that after MN to KS

Wouldn't you go down to Okie and over to AZ?

Google maps says the fastest way is MN to Omaha to Denver to Albuquerque to AZ, and I have family in Denver so it just makes sense to stop there. It's only a bit out of the way to go through Kansas instead of Nebraska on my way to Denver.

And they can radar you from miles away...

so would it be a bad idea to speed through that area?

Just be really careful around Des Moines, the rest of the way you can boogie.

I would believe that to be the fastest, however, once in Manhattan I think going South would be; however, family and a free place to stay trumps fastest.

you're right, it's 250 more miles to go through Denver, but free lodging is free lodging. And my uncle has some McIntosh amps that are just begging for listen.

I like Colorado, never had a complaint about when I go there *although it is Colorado Springs*.

The only complaint is when I got a flat there on memorial day, and when you go into the tire shop and they remark "Well thats an odd size" when you tell them what tire you need, you might as well bend over then.

Goodnight mang. I should really do the same. Tomorrow I catch the early plane to the WC. Amusing since the W brings her parents to the airport uber early, then I go, and tomorrow night she flies out. 3 trips from our household to the aeroflop tomorrow.

250 miles is only a bit more than 3 hours...of course in your car that is almost enough in gas to pay for the hotel  More than enough for a spot to tent it.

<-- loves to sleep in tents

11.5 gallons :finger:

the tent idea aint a bad one though.... hmm

It also appears I can pick up all of this shit too for about 30 bucks more I think... Not sure I even want all this shit, no pucking idea what the hell I would do with it.

If you end up with anything with a fairly high Qts, let me know, I've been itching to do an OB project :)
